The last few days Hayden has been hanging out with Grandma Barb and Grandpa Ken, doing all sorts of fun things. On Monday, she went to Legoland where she rode on all the rides and looked at all the Lego animals, people and cities. We've been before, but weren't able to go on any of the rides, so I'm sure she loved that. She even did a car ride where she drove by herself - pushing the gas petal AND steering. (She was pretty successful, for a three year old.) Fun day for Hayden - thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
Then on Wednesday, it was 90 degrees, so they took Hayden to the beach! Specifically, Midnight Beach in Encinitas, which also has a shaded playground in addition to the sand and the surf. She really didn't want to go in the water though. Apparently, our Mexico trip has worn off completely. She did get sand in her eye, poor girl. My mom got it out, but I still felt bad for the her.
I'm off tomorrow, so I get to take Hayden to soccer and swimming. Yay!
