Today Hayden and I went to go see our second movie - The Lion King in 3D. She first learned about the main character, Simba, in the Disneyland parade. Not long after, I found the book in the dollar bin at Target, so she learned more about the other characters and story line. When I found out that it was coming back to the theaters, I thought it would be a perfect follow-up to our first movie together.
Hayden was excited, though not so sure about the glasses, even though she has worn them before. In the end, she was fine with them, and happy to be getting the popcorn of course. She was a little louder this time during the film, but mostly because she was excited to see the animals and all the characters she read about in the book. This movie was a little longer than the first one, so when it was almost finished, she said she was done and we went ahead and left a little early. She said she enjoyed herself though, so I was happy about that.
