Christmas Trimming

This weekend, after celebrating Thanksgiving, we put up the Christmas tree and all the other house decorations. First up was the mini, blue tree that we picked out for Hayden's room. She was actually pretty exited about it and hung all the ornaments/placed the purple star. She now says she wants lights on it (like the big one), but maybe we'll save that for newt year. 

Of course, Hayden helped set up the bigger tree too. She liked the breads, just like last year, and Sean helped her put them up. She also liked looking through, and hanging up, all the ornaments she's been given, including the ones Sean gets for her each year. (The first year it was Very Hungry Caterpillar book, the second year it was a puppy jumping through a wreath, then last year it was Curious George sitting on a pile of books while reading one of them.)

We did most of it during the day/before Hayden's nap, but then we did a big reveal, with the lights and all, when it was dark.
