New Years On The Beach

We spent New Years Day at the beach. It was supposed to be amazingly warm, but was actually a little chilly. We went anyway though, since going to the beach in the winter is sort of a tradition.

Hayden collected rocks, like she always does, but this time she really wanted to make a sand castle too. And by that, apparently, she meant that Sean should make them and she should smash them down.

We also took over playing in a big hole, which Hayden had fun getting "stuck" in and jumping over with Sean's help. That's also where they got the wet sand for the sand castles.

We ended the afternoon with a little relaxation and lunch, although honestly, I think Hayden could have stayed much longer.
